External Teaching Awards

The Faculty of Medicine’s Education and Teaching Awards Committee (ETAC) reviews candidates for external Education and Teaching awards requiring a decanal nomination and makes recommendations to the Dean. The Committee seeks nominations for consideration twice a year; once in the Spring/Summer and once in the Fall/Winter. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Jeananne Robertson throughout the year regarding nominations or eligibility. A list of previous Faculty of Medicine recipients of these awards is available online.

The Spring deadline for internal nominations (for external awards due in the Fall/Winter) is May 31. The Fall deadline for internal nominations is November 30. For convenience, an online nomination form has been provided. Nominators are asked to forward a current CV for the nominee. Short-listed candidates may be asked to provide a teaching dossier.
