I would like to say Welcome! to all of the new students and Hello! to all of the returning students. The Office of Health Professions Student Affairs (OHPSA) offers services to students in the Doctor of Medicine, Medical Radiation Sciences, Occupational Therapy and the Physician Assistant Program in the areas of Wellness, Career Development, Learning Skills and Student Life/Community Outreach. Training to become a health professional is an endeavour that brings a host of new experiences, new people, and unique challenges as you develop your knowledge and clinical skills. The OHPSA is here to help you navigate these challenges and optimize your development as a healthcare professional. Self-care is an important step in promoting you to take great care of your patients. On behalf of the OHPSA team, I wish you all the best in your training program.
