Management Committees of the Dean
Dean’s Executive
Mandate:
The Dean’s Executive is the Dean’s executive-level management committee. The Committee provides advice / feedback to the Dean on a wide variety of issues tabled by the Dean and/or other members of the Committee. Items that have been discussed and/or approved by the Dean’s Executive membership proceed to the most appropriate committee of departmental chairs for approval/information. Where these items have policy or governance implications, they are next taken to one of the Standing Committees of Faculty Council (Education or Research) for review and approval. In particular, new policies must be reviewed by one or more Standing Committees of Council before being brought through the Faculty Council Agenda Committee for debate and approval.

All Chairs Committee
Mandate:
As a management committee advisory to the Dean, the All Chairs Committee provides guidance / approval on items presented for discussion or information at meetings that are held on alternate months between September and June. Items with policy or governance implications approved by the All Chairs Committee proceed to the appropriate Faculty Council Committee for movement through the Faculty Council governance process.
