U of T researcher finds active surveillance of prostate cancer to be safe
New data has shown that active surveillance of prostate cancer is safe, and can reduce concerns about delaying intervention. The study was led by Dr. Laurence Klotz, a professor in the Department of Surgery, and chief of urology at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
