Let the book drive begin!
Books with Wings, part of the University of Toronto International Health Program is collecting children’s story books for Lieutenant Governor David Onley's Young Aboriginal Reader’s Program of Club Amick.
Faculty, staff, students on all three campuses, as well as high schools across the GTA, are invited to help give Aboriginal children in Southwestern Ontario a positive educational environment by donating mint-condition children’s books to the Dream Catcher’s Book Drive. BWW is a tri-campus effort to promote enlightenment and help children catch their dreams. Several dozen medical and undergraduate students are participating in the book drive, which is led by by co-directors Dinusha Senarane (far left) and Ansa Rana (far right).
